Horizons Pharmacuticals SHI requires an adventurous person with their own
transportation for exploration of an unexplored system. Pay averages
$1,000 per week (based on results), and may run as high as $5,000 per week.
You must travel to the system (co-ordinates will be provided), and
determine if life exists. If so, samples must be obtained, and studies
performed.
Game Master's Notes:
- Life does exist at the destination, it is intelligent, and very
xenophobic. There is a good chance that any contact will be met with as
much resistance as can be raised, upto and including the total population
rising against you.
- The system is under quarantine, and no ships are allowed in. This is to
protect the local population, who are deemed not ready for contact. There
is a 10% chance (per week) that a patrol ship will be patrolling the outer
rim of the system.
